5. Advanced operation

Enabling the USB endpoint is only recommended when you are using a non-Barco dis-

play controller. If you are using a Ba rco display controller, this communication will au-

tomatically be done over the connected video cable(s).

To enable/disable USB:

1. Bring up the OSD main menu.

2. Navigate to the Conﬁguration > Connectivity menu.

3. Enter the USB submenu.

4. Select Enabled/Disabled as desired and conﬁrm.

5.10 DPMS mode

About DPMS mode

Enabling the Display Power Management System (DPMS) mode on your display will optimize its diagnos-

tic lifetime by automatically switching off the backlight when the display is not used for a speciﬁed period

of time. By default, DPMS mode is enabled on your display, but it also needs to be activated on your

workstation. To do this, go to the “Power options properties” window of your workstation.

Barco recommends s etting DPMS activation after 20 minutes of non-usage.

To enable/disable DPMS mode on your display:

1. Bring up the OSD main menu.

2. Navigate to the Conﬁguration > Power Management menu.

3. Enter the DPMS Mode submenu.

4. Select Enabled/Disabled as desired and conﬁrm.

5.11 Lu minance target

About the luminance target

The luminance target of your Coronis Fusion 10MP is adjustable over a predeﬁned range. When you

change the luminance target, the display will adjust its backlight to reach the target.

To set the luminance target:

1. Bring up the OSD main menu.

2. Navigate to the Conﬁguration > Calibration menu.

3. Enter the Luminance Target submenu.

4. Set a luminance target value as desired and conﬁrm.

The default value is 500 cd/m². The ﬁve year warranty is valid for this setting.
